American singer-songwriter Dale Krantz Rossington is best known for collaborating with the Southern rock band 38 Special. She was born on November 15, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dale Krantz Rossington first joined 38 Special as a backup singer in 1980 but quickly rose to prominence in the group. Several of the band's songs, such as "Rockin' Into the Night," "Hold on Loosely," and "Caught Up in You," were co-written by her. As a backing vocalist for several bands in the Jacksonville region in the 1970s, Dale Krantz Rossington started her musical career.
